Rescheduling/Cancellation Guidelines

In Case of Bad Weather

  1. The ASA determines when games will be cancelled due to bad weather.  Decisions are not made until after 2:30 pm.  To find out if games are cancelled.
    Call the ASA Office - 225-0088 (listen to message on the answering machine)
  2. Radio:  Pheasant Country FM103.7 or KKAA 1560AM
  3. Check the ASA Bulletin Board
  4. Check the ISA Bulletin Board

ASA VS. ISA Games

  1. The coach requesting the change (requestor) will contact the other coach.
  2. If the other coach agrees to switch, they should come up with 2-3 possible dates for rescheduling.
  3. The requestor should contact the Aberdeen Age Group Commissioner for and give alternate dates.
  4. The Aberdeen Commissioner will notify the Aberdeen Scheduler of the request.
  5. The Aberdeen Age Group Commissioner will then contact the requestor with alternate date.
  6. The requestor will then contact the other coach.
  7. If canceling the game, the requestor must notify the Aberdeen Age Commissioner.
  8. Also notify the Ipswich Commissioner.  (This is needed to track billings.)
